Throwback – Angle Drilling at Attabad Lake, Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan 🏔️🔩

Our Geoengineers Islamabad team carried out angle drilling works at the site of the Attabad Hydropower Project (54 MW).

884 MW Suki Kinari Hydropower Project – A Milestone of Our Contribution
At Geoengineers Pakistan, we take pride in being part of the feasibility stage investigations for the iconic Suki Kinari Hydropower Project (SKHPP), a flagship CPEC initiative located on the Kunhar River, District Mansehra, KPK.

Our scope of work included:
Drilling (45 holes, 1461m)
Seismic Refraction Surveys (2880m)
Water Pressure & Permeability Tests (84 Nos.)

Geological Mapping, Borrow Area Studies, and Topographic Surveys
These investigations provided the foundation for the successful development of the 884 MW hydropower plant, now lighting homes, fueling industries, and strengthening Pakistan’s energy security.

Throwback – Reserve Estimation for Cement Plant, Taunsa Shareef, DG Khan, Punjab, Pakistan 🏗️⛏️

Our team successfully completed reserve estimation works for Fauji Cement Company Limited at Taunsa Shareef. The project involved detailed drilling and geological investigations to evaluate limestone reserves, supporting the future expansion of Pakistan’s cement industry.

We are proud to contribute our expertise in geotechnical engineering, drilling, and mineral exploration to strengthen the foundation of the nation’s infrastructure sector.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of drilling and grouting works at Basol Dam, Ormara, Balochistan (2025).

Our Geoengineers team carried out DTH drilling and grouting operations, ensuring the stability and strength of the dam foundation. With this milestone achieved, our team has now demobilized from the site.

This accomplishment marks another step forward in advancing water conservation, agriculture development, and sustainable infrastructure in the region.

Throwback to 2024 – Chromite Exploration in Muslim Bagh, Balochistan 🌍⛏️

In 2024, our Geoengineers team successfully conducted chromite exploration using advanced geophysical technologies. Leveraging Controlled-Source Electromagnetic (CSEM) methods along with ERS–PQWT survey profiles up to 1700 ft depth, we were able to:

🔹 Identify and explore new chromite ore zones
🔹 Propose optimized mining points and future prospects
🔹 Support sustainable mine planning for long-term development

This project demonstrates our commitment to applying innovative exploration techniques for unlocking Pakistan’s mineral potential.

Throwback to one of our key contributions to Pakistan’s renewable energy journey. ⚡🇵🇰

In 2023, our team at Geo Engineers successfully completed a comprehensive topographic survey for a 600 KW Hydropower Project in Dasu, Kohistan. This survey provided critical data on terrain features, enabling the efficient design of the proposed camp’s electricity system — a vital step in making clean energy accessible in remote areas.
