I’m not just a designer—I’m an engineer with patented design projects under my belt.

Back in 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to join the Cacao Machine Project with USeP, DOST-PCAARRD, and the brilliant team from Agricultural and Biosystems Research led by Dr. Montepio.

That three-year journey shaped my skills, mindset, and career path.

Now, over two years into my full-time SolidWorks freelance career, I turn innovative concepts into real-world solutions.

We are thrilled to announce that the University has officially received the Letters of Patent for the invention “A Device and Method for a Multi-Stage Cacao Processor” with the registration number PH12023050135.

This innovative system automates key post-harvest cacao processes—mucilage extraction, bean fermentation, and drying—ensuring more efficient, uniform, and higher-quality cacao production. With enhanced airflow, uniform mixing, and improved water coverage, this device supports farmers by boosting productivity while reducing labor-intensive steps.

The invention is now open for licensing and commercialization.

Ayaw kawala’g bilib sa imong kaugalingon.

Sauna, sige kog butang og invisible boundaries sa akong kaugalingon. Mahadlok ko mosulay og bag-ong diskarte pangwarta, mahadlok mo-pursue og laing career. Mahadlok ko mapalpak. Nituo ko nga basin dili nako kaya. Mahadlok ko unsay isulti sa uban, ug uban pang mga negative thoughts nga nagapugong ra diay sa akong potential.

Pero narealize nako, ang pag-think og negative outcomes diay sa imong plano, makatabang gihapon.

Ngano? Kay kung naa kay idea if unsay pwede scenario nga mag fail, naa pud kay chance nga mapangandaman na daan.

Example sa akong experience:
Wala niwork ang usa ra ka strategy sa pagpangita og client. So akong gibuhat, nagdugang kog 5 ka strategies. Ang resulta? Ang unang 4 nga strategy, palpak. Pero ang ikalima, mao to'y niwork.

Usahay, ginapa experience lang diay ta og kalisod sa sugod para makatuon ta unsa gyud ang angay buhaton para makakuha tag positive results.

Parehas aning post-post nako diri sa FB — wa pa koy klarong idea asa ni padulong, pero sige lang kog try og pangita og pamaagi nga makwartaan ni. Hahaha!

Ang point lang nako ani:
Ayaw gyud kawala’g bilib sa imong kaugalingon. Kay kasagaran, ikaw ra ang nag inusarang nagatuo nga makab-ot imong pangandoy. Ikaw ra pud ang pinakauna nga nitou nga mahimo na.

Ug kung undang ka or mag limit ka sa imu kaugalingon, diha ra pud ka kutob.

Kung gusto ka mangitag diskarte sa internet nga maka-kwarta, pero wala pa ka ka-decide unsa imong sulayan, basaha ni…

Be realistic sa pagpili sa diskarte o pangwarta nga imong i-pursue online. Kay maka-distract kaayo ang kadaghang options karon, ug lisod mag-focus kung maglibog ka unsa ang angay nimo buhaton.

Sa akong experience, before ko nag-SolidWorks freelancing, nag-day trading pud ko. Naingganyo ko sa mga content creators nga nag-ingon nga dako kaayo ilang kita. Sa sugod, mura’g kwarta-kwarta jud, pero nagkadugay, dako na kaayo akong mga losses. Didto nako na-realize nga dili haom akong skills para anang diskarte kay ubos man ang akong patience.

Then, didto nako na-realize nga SolidWorks freelancing ang angay nako. Bisan dili siya ang pinaka highest skill earner among other freelancers, at least naa na koy solid background sa paggamit sa software prior sako pag start, ug mas naka-focus ko.

Nindot man pud mag-try ug bag-ong skills aron ma-develop nimo imong kaugalingon in the process. Pero ang challenge, unsaon nimo pagpada-yon inig-abot sa punto nga mura’g wala na kay makita nga progress.

Nagatuo jud ko nga kita tanan naa tay lahi-lahi nga skills, basin wala pa nimo na-realize ang imung kaugalingon nga strength. Pero basig inig basa nimo ani, mao ra diay na ang time nga maka-realize ka unsa jud ang angay nimo buhaton.
