The PSME Metal Working & Equipment–Technical Division (MWETD) successfully conducted its free online technical webinar titled
“From Raw Material to Finished Product: A Practical Workflow in Metalworking Processes” with Engr. Triztan Dela Cruz as our esteemed Technical Resource Speaker.

The program commenced at 6:00 PM with an engaging audiovisual presentation, followed by a Welcoming Message from Engr. Jeremy T. Aguinea, PME (Board of Trustee). The introduction of our guest speaker was delivered by Engr. Marvin M. Aquino, PME (Secretary, MWETD), paving the way for a highly informative session.

𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:
The 1.5-hour technical lecture provided participants with essential knowledge on:

• The systematic workflow of metalworking—from raw material selection to machining, forming, and finishing processes
• Key considerations in selecting metal types based on application, durability, and performance requirements
• Overview of commonly used metalworking machines, tools, and production technologies
• Ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in fabricating metal products fit for industrial use
• Best practices and quality control measures to achieve reliable, high-standard finished outputs

The Q&A segment showcased active participation from attendees, reflecting strong interest in enhancing industrial metalworking practices and aligning fabrication processes with modern engineering standards.

Practical discussions on machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cost–benefit analysis with ROI calculations, giving engineers and entrepreneurs valuable technical and business perspectives
