Compressor Burnout Rectification & Full System Restoration Completed

A complete end-to-end recovery was carried out following a compressor burnout caused by a leaking solenoid valve that allowed continued operation under fault conditions, resulting in severe winding damage and compressor failure.
Our team executed a full corrective and preventive restoration process, including compressor replacement, condenser relocation, system flushing with R141b, complete repiping, and replacement of the filter core, filter drier, and solenoid valve O-ring.
The system was thoroughly prepared through structured testing procedures: a 1-hour vacuum with stability monitoring achieving -10 vacuum hold, nitrogen flushing, and a 100 PSI pressure test held for approximately 1 hour to confirm system integrity, followed by a final 30-minute vacuum cycle.
After correct refrigerant charging, the unit was safely commissioned with a 4-hour crankcase heater pre-start to ensure compressor protection and stability.
Result: A fully restored, leak-tested, and reliably commissioned system returned to optimal operational condition.
