Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Panel Board Cost Estimator with 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical panel board estimating. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and quotations for various panel board projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Review electrical plans, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and detailed quantity take-offs.
* Compute material, labor, fabrication, and overhead costs.
* Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and bid proposals.
* Coordinate with suppliers to obtain updated pricing for electrical components.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Sales departments.
* Ensure all quotations are accurate, complete, and competitively priced.
Qualifications
* Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or any related field.
* With 3–5 years of experience as a Panel Board Cost Estimator, Electrical Estimator, or in a similar role.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
* Knowledgeable in panel board components such as:
* MCCB / MCB
* ACB
* Contactors
* Relays
* VFD
* Busbars
* Metering Devices
* Control Components
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and with strong communication skills.
