EY Mercado Construction (EYMC), in its 22 years in construction and waterproofing services, is hiring for the position: Entry-Level Estimator.
Job Description:
*analysing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs. researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
Expected Skills:
It is critical that they can articulate and extract the most important information under pressure. Analytical: An estimator must be more than just quick with numbers and good with math. They must understand the sequence of the project, learn from their past work and apply those lessons to future projects.
Estimator Experience Requirements:
Entry-level Estimator candidates should have at least two years of experience estimating costs in a relevant industry. Some entry-level candidates may have other finance, cost accounting or other project management related experience.
