Design Concept: Portal (Gateway): A vision of the future and a testament of their Christian faith (Owners are devout Christians)
Location: Holy Spirit, Quezon City
Total Floor Area: 90 Sq.m.

With a total floor area of only 90 sqm., the design reflects a compact urban oasis amidst the urban jungle of Metro Manila. The designers utilized space available to maximize the space with respect to light and ventilation. Simple, modern, classy and affordable - Every homeowner's dream!

Design Concept: Bigiw: Traditional Mindanao Sail
Location: Cagayan De Oro, Mindanao
Floor Area: 150 Sq.m.

Play of lines, volumes and planes makes a good facade interesting. Even without renderings of materials, the bare volumes speak loudly towards the center of interest. Corner windows direct the eye towards the second center of interest in the rear of the building.

Upgraded Sports Pavilion and Team Building Facility in the province of Rizal, Philippines. The developers hope to mark the province as the premier team building haven and sports facility in Luzon.

Irregularly shaped lots are specially challenging for designers. Efficient space planning and consideration of the surroundings are the key to maximize all the sides of the polygon.

The Design Concept- something that is commonly ignored and skipped in the design process is the "soul" of the the design. Example below is an unorthodox approach in design concept formulation- the concept is Dynamicism in the building form: A composition of lines, planes and volume to achieve a simple but strong character. This is a design approach for low-end finishes but require an impact to the target audience. At the end of the day, the design concept is the solution of the designer to the problem of the client- be it financially, socially, or physically.

Lines and Volume highlight every design feature of any building. Harmony can be achieved by focusing in one center of interest instead of multiple points that will ultimately stress the viewer👍👍

An solution to a very tight space is to provide a strong focal point. By adding a recessive feature (cove lights), the focal point becomes stronger. Couple it with vertical and horizontal lines for Depth and Height and the design will achieve simplicity and elegance.
