We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our engineering consultancy firm. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes, ensuring they align with our fast-paced, project-based operations. This role is critical in building a people-first company culture, managing recruitment, supporting project staffing, and driving employee performance and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead the end-to-end recruitment of technical and non-technical professionals (e.g., civil engineers, project managers, design engineers, admin support).
•Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and project delivery timelines.
•Oversee onboarding, induction, and training of new hires.
•Manage performance evaluation systems and staff development plans.
•Ensure legal compliance with local labor laws, health & safety regulations, and HR policies.
•Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures. Monitoring of all aspects related to Human Resource efficiency.
•Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning, team structures, and efficiency of Human Resource department.
•Administer payroll coordination, compensation review, and benefits programs.
•Maintain and improve the company’s employee record system.
•Support organizational culture, diversity, and other employee initiatives.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or Behavioral Science; MBA is an advantage but not required.
•At least 5-10 years of experience in HR, preferably within engineering, construction, or consultancy industries.
•Strong understanding of HR functions in a project-based or technical environment.
•Familiarity with engineering job roles and industry norms.
•Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
•Sound knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and compliance regulations.
•High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
