Minor pressure drop Jockey Pump starts

(maintains system stability)

Hydrant/Sprinkler activation

Main Electric Pump

starts (primary firefighting flow)

Critical pressure drop / main pump unavailable Diesel Pump starts (standby reliability)

High-rise demand

Terrace Booster maintains

top-floor residual pressure

Important:

Power failure ensures diesel pump availability but actual start is pressure-driven, not power-loss driven.

It's all about pressure settings, sequencing & pump interlocking.
