Opening Ceremony of GMAC Logitech Refrigeration's New Cold Storage Facility

GMAC Logitech Refrigeration, Inc., a joint venture between AC Logistics Holdings, Inc. and Glacier Megafridge, Inc. (GMI), has constructed a new cold storage facility with a capacity of 11,798 pallets in Panabo City, Davao del Norte. The opening ceremony was held on March 9, 2026. This facility is GMAC's second cold storage facility, following the one in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City.

The facility is expected to serve a wide range of customers, including local food producers, manufacturers, importers, commercial food service operators, and quick-service restaurant chains, supporting the growing demand for reliable cold chain infrastructure in the region.

For this project, as with the previous facility in Tablon, Mayekawa Philippines Corporation supplied a high-efficiency ammonia refrigeration system equipped with its signature MYCOM screw compressor.
