With the office closed for Parañaque Day, the team decided to do something different — the team swapped desks for hiking shoes and headed out to climb Mount Arayat together.

A good change of pace with some fresh air, a bit of a challenge, and time to catch up outside of work. A huge thanks to Amando for capturing the day with some incredible drone footage 🎥👏

Alex, Brian and Eshida represented MCFT Philippines at the MYKAR Hospitality Summit 2026, joining operators, suppliers and industry leaders in hospitality from across the Philippines.

This years Hospitality Summit gave us the opportunity to listen to the challenges operators are facing, understand where the industry is heading, and discuss how MCFT can help with reliability, performance and long-term food equipment support.

The more we understand our customers’ challenges, the better we can structure our maintenance, response and support to protect performance and reduce equipment downtime.

Fantastic to see the new training academy in Reading, Berkshire - that was recently opened by HRH Princess Royal! Great to spend time with the UK training team, meet the current trainees, and see first-hand how the apprenticeship and training programmes are delivered across the UK business.

Spending time inside the Academy gave us the chance to see our training programmes up close, share ideas, and explore how we continue developing engineers across the business.

We’re excited to bring those insights back to the Philippines as we continue to strengthen our training, support our experienced engineers, and deliver the highest standards for our customers.
