2-Storey Residential Building
Location: Ozamiz City
Owner: Mr. D.B.B.
The house is a prime example of Modern Minimalist / Contemporary Architecture, common in suburban developments in Southeast Asia (particularly the Philippines).
The house features a "Shed" or "Lean-to" roof design with deep overhangs and dark gray/black fascia boards. This style is functional for heavy rain drainage while maintaining a sleek, geometric profile.
The design utilizes a "mixed media" approach. The primary structure is white concrete, contrasted by a prominent central section clad in horizontal warm-wood planks. Dark gray accents on the window frames and rooflines add a "high-contrast" modern feel.
Large, dark-tinted glass windows suggest an emphasis on natural light. The upper floor has a large picture window, while the ground floor features a vertical window unit that adds height to the structure.
Modern black cylindrical sconces are placed strategically on the pillars and walls, indicating a focus on "up-down" accent lighting for the evening.
The integrated carport is a "cantilevered" style design supported by minimalist pillars, allowing the silver Toyota SUV to be protected while remaining part of the home’s visual footprint.
