With great magnification comes great discovery — your friendly neighborhood scanning electron microscope 🕷️ 🔬

Have you seen the new Spider-Man movie? This time, we’re looking at real spider anatomy under the Scanning Electron Microscope. Shown are SEM images revealing a world of tiny details, from segmented legs and jaw-like chelicerae to sensory pedipalps and gripping structures called scopulae. Each feature plays a role in how spiders move, sense, grip, and survive.

Through SEM imaging, surface details that are invisible to the naked eye become easier to observe, revealing the fine textures and structures that make even small specimens fascinating up close.
