e the middle of 2008, RCSI has converted some parts of its facilities to Yakitori processing and started to export to the Japan market in 2009. After some development in yakitori export, RCSI further expanded its export processing facility in early 2011 and fully converting around 600 metric tons of cold storage capacity mainly for its own internal use making RCSI a 100% export company. Through our innovative EFID system of thawing, we could realize less drip loss from raw materials. We have set up our own internal laboratory to test all products and we are using Ozone Water for the cleaning of our tools and equipment. With our fully established GMP/SSOP and HACCP system we are continuously and carefully monitoring the safety of our products. Weekly HACCP and GMP/SSOP seminars are given to our employees. Rest assured that from raw materials handling up to packaging of finished products -- quality and safety is our concern. In August 2005 RCSI was accredited by the Department of Agriculture (DA) – National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) as the first cold storage facility in the Philippines to be GOP/SSOP (Good Operating Procedures/Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) compliant. In January 2006, RCSI received its HACCP (Hazard and Control Critical Points) certificates as proof of its continuous commitment to its customers. In February 2009, RCSI has been certified as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant and accredited as a “AAA” Cold Storage Facility and Meat Cutting Plant making it available to service the export sector. Also in 2009, RCSI received its HACCP certificate for its production of Yakitori products and was accredited by the Philippine Exporters Confederation (PHILEXPORT), the largest organization of Philippine Exporters as an extension of Customs Bonded Warehouse # 1045 for the storage of both our raw materials and finished products.
