You don't have to be a professional athlete or a prima ballerina to know that feeling: that dull ache in your knees or the soreness in your lower back after just 30 minutes of moving around on a hard surface.

When we were building the studio, we made a choice: no concrete-hard floors. What you’re looking at is a professional sprung floor. While it looks sleek on top, it’s actually an engineered "sandwich" of high-density foam and flexible wood layers.

🪵Not all floors are created equal.

A dance studio project we're currently building out is being fitted with Hevea Rubberwood Sports Flooring, installed on the Unobat 45 floating floor system — the same standard used in professional sports and performance spaces worldwide.

Why does it matter? Because the right floor protects your joints, supports your movement, and actually makes you perform better. And as builders, it's our job to know the difference — and specify accordingly.

No cutting corners here. This studio is being built for dancers. 🔥
