Battery-powered crimping tools are increasingly popular among electrical contractors. Initially, they may be expensive to purchase—in the range of two to three times the price of a hydraulic model, but they are often well worth the investment in terms of time and effort saved. Battery-powered crimpers are fast, easy to take to the job, and especially handy on work sites where electric power is not readily available.

Battery-powered crimpers are simple and easy to operate—just pull the trigger—and are more or less foolproof. They automatically disengage when the crimp is complete. Because the compression cycle is preset and therefore controlled by the tool, rather than the user, the crimps are reliably uniform every time.

Did you wish for McGILL to also have small copper terminals such as Spade type, Ring type, Pin type, both insulated and non-insulated terminal lugs? How about insulated butt connectors, cord end terminals, and wire nuts? All these have now been added to McGILL range of terminal lugs and cable accessories.
