𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈 | 𝑾𝒆 𝑫𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝑱𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝑾𝒆 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓

On 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟬𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, The National University Engineering Student Council (NUESC), in partnership with Sierra Falcones, had the privilege of spending a meaningful day with the Dumagat Indigenous Community at 𝗗𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘇𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘆, 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻. A total of 𝟯𝟳 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 were reached through the program, each receiving a donation bag, a loot bag, and school supplies.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 became a reminder that the greatest things we build are not always made of concrete, steel, or structures, but of 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲. Through fun and engaging games inspired by 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝘀, the children were encouraged to explore ideas, solve challenges, and discover that learning can happen in the most joyful ways. Engineering became a way of inspiring young minds to imagine what they can create someday.

And when we choose to serve, we do more than help, we 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿. 🫂🤝🏻

The day may have ended, but the purpose continues. May the laughter we shared, the lessons we learned, and the kindness we extended serve as a foundation for something greater a future where every child is given the opportunity to learn, dream, and build.

Because the future we aspire to engineer begins with the communities we choose to uplift today. Together, we did more than build a foundation,

𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝑳𝒆𝒕’𝒔 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒂 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 🤝💗

A meaningful day of service is on its way! Through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, the National University Engineering Student Council (NUESC), in partnership with Sierra Falcones, is preparing to extend support and share meaningful moments with the Dumagat Indigenous Community.

The activity will take place on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟬𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆), from 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠, at 𝗗𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘇𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘆, 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻. This initiative aims to promote compassion, unity, and meaningful community engagement by extending support to the Dumagat community.

This initiative is made possible through the efforts of NUESC ComEx: Princess Nicole A. Fradejas, Earl John D. Miciano, Aliyah C. Peji, Sam Joseph A. Magno, Alessandra Jodrin S. Alinsoot, Maximillan Andreus G. Beñas, Ulysis S. Santelices, and Nioro G. Furiscal (Faculty), in partnership with Sierra Falcones.

In line with our steadfast commitment towards accessibility and responsiveness, the Student Development and Activities Office (SDAO), in partnership and close coordination with the National University Central Student Government (NUCSG) and the College Student Councils (CSCs), launch NU SHARES—Student Helpdesk-Aligned Response for Efficient Services.

As a streamlined digital ecosystem that serves as a centralized bridge between the student body and the university units where student concerns are formally documented, handled, and resolved, we aim to bring a transparent platform where every student is secured and heard in this ever-changing academic environment.

The National University Engineering Student Council (NUESC), in partnership with Sierra Falcones, is organizing 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, a community extension initiative that seeks to provide essential goods and support to the Dumagat Indigenous Community.

Project Foundation is an opportunity for Nationalians to experience the value of community engagement through a simple yet meaningful act of service. By sharing what we can, we can help provide some of the community’s everyday needs while nurturing compassion, awareness, and responsibility beyond our campus.

As we prepare for the community activity on October 4, 2026, we warmly invite fellow Nationalians to share what they can.
