2 of 2 Mobile Solar Desalination Trailers Delivered!

Another custom-built project delivered to one of our valued long-term clients and this marks their 8th trailer project with us! 🤝

This time, we were commissioned to build a heavy-duty mobile trailer with a 12,000 lbs. capacity, Marine Stainless Steel flooring, 5 Gullwing doors with solar panel provisions, and additional roof-mounted solar panels.

The trailer is designed to form part of a complete desalination solution, efficiently converting seawater into fresh water for drinking, powered either by solar or genset.

Now ready for our client to install their desalination equipment and complete the system. 💧☀️

Mitsubishi Triton fitted with an Option4WD Hidden Winch Plate Mount, with the winch supplied by our client. Installation required front bumper removal and trimming.

We also installed our HitchPro Titan Series Tow Hitch Receiver—making this Triton a properly equipped, fully capable workhorse. 💪🏻🔥

This Triton is really growing on me. 😎 Boxy, tough, utilitarian and this base 4WD variant being manual makes it even cooler. 👌🏻

This Triton is really growing on me. The boxy exterior gives it a proper tough, utilitarian look and this specific variant being the base 4WD makes it even more interesting.

Some Classics Never Get Old

Can’t go wrong with the Thule T2 Classic. The old-timer bikers would know. 😉🇸🇪

As they say, “Don’t fix what ain’t broken.”

This setup features the legendary Thule T2 Classic + 2-Bike Add-On, fitted on this Toyota Prado and paired with our HitchPro Class 3 Tow Hitch Receiver.

Simple. Solid. Proven. And still one of the cleanest ways to haul multiple bikes. 👌🏻

For this setup, our client is securing the necessary overhang permit and will add safety lights whenever the rack is in use, plus a proper duplicate/authorized plate if the vehicle plate is obstructed.

✅ Keep the load within the allowable 1-meter rear overhang where applicable
✅ If extending beyond 1 meter, comply with the required markings/lights and permit

We’ve been building moto carriers since 2012, and as riders ourselves, we know that carrying a big bike is about more than just making it fit…strength, proper fitment and safety matter.

Quick LTO & Safety Checklist

* Keep rear projection within the allowable limit; if the load extends more than 1 meter, proper red flag/reflector or light markings are required as applicable.
* Tail lights must remain visible.
* License plate must remain clearly visible — relocate/provide a compliant plate mount if obstructed.
* Use a properly rated heavy-duty moto carrier.
* Use heavy-duty ratchet tie-downs.
* Check the combined carrier + motorcycle weight against your hitch’s rated carrying capacity.
