With the new agreement signed yesterday, Katibayan stays open to the public, whether or not you live in Baguio.

With Katibayan, anyone can:
โ€ข Look up Baguio City's ordinances and infrastructure contracts on the public dashboard.
โ€ข Check that each record matches the version the city published.
โ€ข Ask Kat, Katibayan's records assistant, questions in English, Filipino, or Taglish about what the city approved, how much each project costs, and who the contractor is.

The City Government of Baguio and BYC Ventures have renewed their partnership through a new two-year agreement. The work began with the GoodGovChain pilot in 2025 and continues today as Katibayan.

As of September 2026, the city holds 246 ordinances and 106 infrastructure contracts on Katibayan, with a combined value of over โ‚ฑ275 million. Any resident can view these records and independently verify each one.

Under the leadership of Mayor Benjie Magalong, Baguio has been the pioneering partner of Katibayan since the pilot. The next two years will give other local governments a working reference for public records that anyone can check.
