Empowering Tagbilaran City Through Precision Technology and Disaster Preparedness 🚨📡
The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) – Tagbilaran City recently strengthened its disaster preparedness and response capabilities through the acquisition of a GNSS Laser RTK an advanced geospatial technology that will assist in the accurate identification, assessment, and monitoring of potential sinkhole areas.
To maximize the capabilities of this technology, CDRRMO Tagbilaran conducted a 3-Day GNSS Laser RTK Training from August 13–15, 2026, equipping its personnel with the knowledge and practical skills needed for surveying, mapping, hazard assessment, and disaster response applications.
This initiative demonstrates Tagbilaran City’s continued commitment to innovation-driven disaster risk reduction, strengthening its capacity to respond to emerging hazards and protect lives and communities.
