IS IT NECESSARY TO USE A CONCRETE NEUTRALIZER BEFORE APPLYING THE WALL PLASTER
After rendering, alkalinity in plaster and concrete can affect your paint adhesion, causing surface issues like patching, cracking, and premature paint failure. Using acid-based solutions such as muriatic acid may also weaken the surface—making proper surface preparation an important step before painting.
A better approach is to use Sinclair Corvus, an alkali-resistant primer designed to help protect your topcoat from alkaline surfaces.
