Gratitude is more than simply saying โthank You.โ It is a way of training our hearts to recognize Godโs goodness, even when life feels difficult.
The Psalms show us that every season gives us a reason to worship. They teach us to bring our joy, pain, questions, and victories before Godโand to remember who He is through all of them.
Psalm 100:5 gives us a reason to remain thankful:
โFor the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.โ๐๏ธ
Godโs goodness doesnโt depend on how easy our circumstances are. His love remains constant. His faithfulness does not change with our situation.
So even in difficult seasons, we can choose gratitudeโnot because everything is good, but because God is always good.
Today, practice building a heart of gratitude in three simple ways:
Thank Him for who He is.
Thank God because He is good, loving, and faithful.
Thank Him for what He has done.
Remember His blessings, His provision, His protection, and the ways He carried you through difficult moments.
Thank Him for what He will do.
You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you can trust the One who does.
Gratitude shifts our attention from what we lack to the God who has always been faithful.
Today, choose to remember: God was faithful yesterday, He is faithful today, and He will remain faithful tomorrow.โ๏ธ๐ฟ๐ค
