I’m an ARCHITECT. You don’t hire and pay me just because of my drawings. I’d be cheap.
You don’t pay me just because of the nice perspective renderings. That’s just visual aids to help you envision the end product. And most definitely you don’t pay me because of the blue prints.
But you know what you pay me for? I’m paid to think. To explore possibilities. To reconnoitre ideas, scrutinize your needs and interpret them into spaces and voids you can use.
You pay me because I understand you and I know how to customize your site based on your comfort and beliefs and presuppositions in life. Not just as a generic plan you get from a magazine or a plan booklet, but a tailor- made design that conforme to not just what you want, but even essential things that you don’t know you need... Things like space efficiency, circulation, wind direction, views, natural space cooling and light maximization, proper material selection and purpose, proper installation and level of work quality, cost efficiency, time management and others.
You pay me because I don’t design just for aesthetics but recognize that fundamentally, form follows function. I’m paid to take your vision, and using my knowledge and expertise, polish them and turn them into tangible, workable, finite reality.
Yes, I am an Architect. And you pay me because I DESIGN YOUR DREAM.

-5 Years College
-2 Years Apprenticeship
-6 months to 1 year review
-2 days Licensure Examination
***Approx. Total of 8 Years to become a Licensed and Registered Architect
*Post education:
-Attending Seminars and Workshops
-Attending Conferences for Professional Affiliations
-Attending CPD (Continuous Professional Development) Seminars and Events
*Architects Personal Investments to Create Drawings and Plans:
Aside from education, experience & skills, in order to create a drawing, specification, cost estimate, contract document and all other researches, studies and data gathering procedures; the Architect invest in the following softwares, hardwares and tools:
-High End Workstation Computer: Php 100-150,000
-Autocad: Php 80,000.00
-Lumion: Php 180,000.00
-Sketchup: Php 45,000.00
-3ds Max: Php 194,000.00
-Microsoft Windows, Photoshop and others: Php 100,000.00
-Drafting table and working table, Pens, sketchbooks, papers and Accessories, High End pen for contract signing, material sample storage, racks and others: Php 150,000.00
-Electronic Measuring Device: Php 15,000.00
-Professional Camera and lenses for taking site pictures and documentations: Php 50,000.00
-Professional Drone Camera for Surveying site: Php 80,000.00
