MinDA & KOICA Strengthen Ties for Sustainable Agriculture in Mindanao

The Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), led by Secretary Leo Tereso A. Magno, renewed its strategic partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to boost sustainable agriculture and strengthen Mindanao’s durian industry.

During KOICA’s courtesy visit, Country Director Mr. JUNG Young Sun reaffirmed their commitment to support farmer cooperatives, modern technologies, and market opportunities — key drivers of food security and inclusive growth.

This collaboration aligns with the Mindanao Development Agenda 2023–2028 and supports President Marcos Jr.’s vision of modernizing Philippine agriculture and empowering rural communities.

Together, MinDA and KOICA are working towards — one that is empowered, resilient, and globally competitive.
