Position: Splicer and IBS Installer

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Perform splicing of fiber optic cables, both fusion and mechanical, to include terminating various types of connectors.

2. Install and test pressurized and non-pressurized enclosures.

3. Install and dress fiber optic cables, both vertically and horizontally.

4. Test and troubleshoot fiber by utilizing an OTDR.

5. Maintain fiber asset inventory and splicing records.

6. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. A High School Diploma, or equivalent.

2. 6mos - 1 year of experience.

3. Knowledge and practice of safety regulations and other construction related guidelines.

4. Ability to read splicing print and apply color code to print reading.

6. MUST be residing in Manila area
