LOOK: The UP Visayas community proudly announces the arrival of the University's brand new 49-seater bus, which was formally received this morning by Dr. Farisal U. Bagsit, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Prof.Encarnacion Emilia S. Yap, Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension in the Miagao campus.

The 6-cylinder bus features an audiovisual system, skid-proof flooring, automatic extinguisher in its engine compartment, LED destination board, and a 6-camera CCTV system on top of its other standard specs.

The addition of a new University bus will greatly enhance the mobility, safety, and accessibility of the UPV community by providing students, faculty, staff, and partner communities with more reliable transportation for academic, cultural, extension, and outreach activities. It will also support timely participation in fieldwork, research engagements, athletic events, and official University functions, while easing transportation challenges and strengthening the Universityโ€™s commitment to inclusive and efficient public service.
