Southpac Trucks Ltd imports DAF and Kenworth trucks manufactured by PACCAR in the Netherlands and Australia, the majority shareholder is The Colonial Motor Company Ltd, Wellington (CMC), who has been involved in the importation and retailing of Ford products since 1908. Southpac operates from eight locations, Manukau City, Hamilton, Rotorua, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Christchurch a

nd Timaru. Southpac supports its customers via the TRP Parts and Service Dealer Network. Southpac parts distribution business is to support DAF and Kenworth customers along with a variety of TRP truck and trailer parts to enable the highest operating uptime at the lowest possible cost.

A sharp new Kenworth K220 livestock unit on the road for Kings Rural Transport from Pukemaori in the deep south.

Built to handle the demands of the job, this setup is powered by a Cummins X15 delivering 615hp, paired with a Roadranger transmission and riding on Hendrickson Primax rear suspension for proven performance.

Completed with a new Delta crate, it makes for a tidy and hardworking combination ready to get stuck in.

Pride in the fleet, right down to the finest detail.

LBT Transport’s Kenworth T904 Classic has plenty of history behind it, and after a recent refresh through Marsh Engineering Services, it’s looking every bit as sharp as it deserves to.

The work included new chassis rails, stretching it out to a 6100 wheelbase, and fitting a 60-inch Aero 1 bunk, giving this well-kept classic an even stronger presence alongside LBT’s T909s.

It’s clear LBT take serious pride in their gear, and that pride shows in every truck.

Congratulations to the LBT team on a seriously well-presented fleet.

OTL Group introduce two new Kenworth K220 Aerodyne livestock units, finished in the iconic blue and white of Lime Haulage.

A nod to the past, this delivery carries forward a legacy dating back to the 1979 Kenworth K144, the 332nd Kenworth to arrive in New Zealand, which wore the same colours through the 1980s.

Built for modern livestock demands, both trucks run Cummins X15 Euro 5 engines producing 550hp and 2050 lb-ft, matched with Eaton Endurant 18-speed AMTs for smooth, efficient performance.

Riding on Kenworth load share front suspension and Airglide 460 rears with disc brakes, they’re set up for reliability across the North Island.

The 2.3m Aerodyne cabs feature in-cab fridges, with one trimmed in Red Garnet and the other in Graphite Grey, finished off with Durabrite rims.

Based in Ōtorohanga and running Northland to the central North Island, they’re driven by Shaun Knight and Ernest Stockman, continuing a proud Lime Haulage legacy.
