Nobody hauls forty metres of chain up by hand to prove they earned their day out. Nobody pull-starts a 250hp outboard by hand anymore.
Nobody argues that a bilge pump makes you soft.

August means the days are starting to stretch out again and the water is calling a little louder.

The brief: a client with a 7.7m boat, a RAM 2500, and a week away planned with full fuel, dive gear and all the kit.

On paper the boat came in under 3500kg as standard. But load it up for a real trip and that changes fast. Towing overweight is not just illegal, it can void your insurance and land you in serious trouble at a roadside check.

So we built him a Balex 770, COF rated to 4500kg. That is roughly 1000kg of legal headroom over a standard WOF trailer, engineered and certified to match both the boat and the RAM 2500 right down to the coupling specs.

The result is a setup he can load up and tow with confidence, no maths at the ramp, no grey areas on the road. If you are running a bigger boat and want a trailer built to suit, get in touch with us and we can help guide you to your best option.
