This tough new build features a Palfinger PHT22 Hook Loader mounted on the powerful Isuzu CYJ 460 8x4 chassis, finished in Northland Waste’s standout blue and black colour scheme.
Built for reliability, efficiency, and demanding day-to-day operation, this truck is purpose-built for hook loader work across Northland and the wider regions.

A fantastic evening for a truly important cause 🙌
Our team had a great time at the Mitre 10 MEGA Whangārei Mission at the Marina fundraiser, joining others from across the region to support the Northland Rescue Helicopter.
The evening brought together great local food, good company, and strong community support for an essential service in our region.
It was great to be part of an event that brings people together for such a worthwhile cause.
Thanks to everyone who helped make the night such a success, events like this make a real difference.

This 6x4 bathtub tipper has just been completed for the team at T8 Group Limited
Built on a UD platform, this unit is set up for serious work with a full Hardox bin and a clean, practical layout designed to handle tough conditions day in, day out.

From stock ute to full lab setup
Another custom build completed transforming this standard ute into a fully kitted-out core sampling and testing unit for Fulton Hogan.
Designed to operate off-road and in real working conditions, this setup allows crews to take core samples directly from the ground to test compaction and material beneath the road surface.
Key features of the build:
Twin alloy workboxes with roller shutter access
Custom storage for core samples, tools & equipment
200L baffled aluminium water tank with gravity feed system
Slide-out & drop-down mounted drill rig for easy operation
Rear gull wing access with full LED lighting throughout
Built to be practical, durable, and easy to use in the field everything has its place so the crew can get in, get the job done, and move on.

On behalf of everyone at Ten4 Engineering, we’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended the Truckers Showdown this year.
What an awesome event great trucks, great people, and an unreal atmosphere all weekend. It’s always good to see the industry come together like this and show the pride that goes into what we do.
A big thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and all the sponsors who helped make the event happen a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes, and it definitely showed.
We’d also like to congratulate Jayden Carter & Kyrin Carter, along with the Carter Limited team from Ruakaka, for taking out Rig of the Show 2026 with the K200 Fatcab Deano’s last ride.
A well-deserved win and an awesome truck.

When Darren & Joe from Coastline Auckland approached us about building a custom paint truck for their road marking operations, it was a challenge we hadn’t tackled before but one we were excited to take on.
This build was all about bringing a vision to life: creating a truck that is fully automated, safe, and easy to operate, while still being compact and compliant with axle mass limits. Packing such an intricate mix of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems into one vehicle without compromising on functionality it pushed our team to innovate at every stage.

The truck features:
• A complete custom build, tailored to Coastline’s requirements
• Fully automated operations for improved efficiency and precision
• Dedicated storage compartments for tools and materials
• Pre-programmed systems designed to operate seamlessly, like clockwork

With Darren’s close involvement throughout the build, we were able to align the engineering with his vision resulting in a truck that not only improves efficiency but also safely replaces an older fleet vehicle.
We’re proud of what was achieved here and grateful to Darren & Joe for trusting us with such a specialized project. This is exactly the kind of challenge that drives innovation at Ten4.
And of course, none of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our team pictured here with the finished build.
