The World 240 Superstock Champs took place in Rotorua over 2 weekends (due to weather) Night 1 the 808C of Scott Tennant top qualified in his group to go through to the finals. Finals night (week later) finished 2nd overall, a great result after finishing 3rd in last years meeting. Recap of championship meetings attended this season

1. North Island Champs Kihikihi, 1st
2. NZ Grand Prix Stratford 5th Equal
3. NZ Champs, Wellington missed qualifying
4. World 240 Champs Rotorua 2nd

Next up NZ Teams Champs at Palmerston North where the 808C will team up with his Glen Eagles team mates to defend the title, Discount Tractor Parts proud to support the 808C and Glen Eagles Team from CHC.

Weekend just gone saw the 808C of Scott Tennant competing for the North Island Champs at Kihikihi Speedway. Condensed meeting with 2 qualifying heats then 3 final Heats on the Saturday night, car and driver chased the track all night and came away with the win. Great result. This year the 808c Scott Tennant was invited to the UK to compete in their Brisca F1 World Champs, pics of the car 808NZ he has been set up in. Similar but different to our Superstocks, similar in that its a contact sport, different in that they run on either shale or tar-mac tracks, different in car setup, they run mainly 402Ci Chev V8's, open wheeled and a reasonably basic suspension set up. DTP proud to be on board for the ride. Finals are run in September.
