Lego Legends is about free play and imagination. Use our large Lego collection to tell a story, create a scene, a creature, or build a fantastic vehicle. We have some exciting new Lego sets if you prefer to follow instructions. This FREE after-school activity is for tamariki aged 4+.

What a banger of a way to start Matariki!!!

A Fish Tale You Won't Want to Miss...

Back in 2020, just after New Zealand's Covid lockdown restrictions were lifted, Matt Watson, Uncle Pete, and their teenage sons Marshall and Shaw (better known as the infamous "Ball Bags") headed out off Whangaroa for their first day back on the water.

Fishing in 390 metres of water, their very first drop produced an impressive 15kg bluenose and a solid 20kg bass. With enough fish to feed both families and refill freezers emptied during lockdown, the crew decided that just one more fish would be plenty...

What happened next turned an ordinary day into a story you'll never forget.

Meet Matt Watson at Whakatāne Sports Fishing Club thanks to ITM Whakatane!

Join us on Friday, 10th July for a fantastic night at the club as we welcome Matt Watson!

Come along from 6:00pm for our regular Club Night, grab a cold Mojo (Matt's own b**r), catch up with fellow members and friends, and get amongst the action with our club raffles running through until around 7:30–8:00pm. You might even spot Matt helping us sell a few raffle tickets!

From 8:00pm, Matt will be taking part in a Q&A session, where he'll share stories from his adventures and answer your questions. If we're lucky, he may even have some great photos and videos to show us from his time on the water.

There'll be plenty for the kids too, with an opportunity to grab an autograph and meet Matt after the Q&A.

Whether you're a long-time fan, a keen fisher, or just looking for a great Friday night out, this is one you won't want to miss.
