Before you fire up your Chainsaw, take a minute to check its safety features.

Modern saws are designed to protect you - but only if everything is working as it should.

Here’s what to inspect:

🔸 Chain Brake – Make sure it stops the chain instantly.
🔸 Chain Catcher – Confirm it’s secure and not worn or damaged.
🔸 On/Off Switch – It should shut the engine off immediately.
🔸 Throttle Lock – The saw should never start without pressing it.

If something isn’t working right, don’t use the saw. Bring it in and we’ll get it sorted.

We’re excited to share that STIHL Shop Greytown will now be open 7 days a week.

Starting Sunday 7 June, you can swing by any day that suits, whether you need gear, advice, or just a friendly chat with the team. We know weekends are prime time for tackling outdoor projects, so we’re here to make things easier.

Saturday & Sunday: 8am – 12pm
Public Holidays: Closed

It's Chainsaw Safety Awareness Week. Prep beats "She'll be right" everytime.

One of the first things to consider is wearing the right gear - boots, safety glasses, earmuffs and safety trousers or chaps. Plus if there is a risk of falling branches, a helmet.

This week we have Safety Packs on sale - Chaps, Earmuffs and Safety Glasses - for $199, saving $94.
