Safe sailing everyone. Looks like it is going to be a great day for it!

Tomorrow morning we have 4 boats heading off in the next race in the BBarton Marine NZoffshore series- a long offshore for a long weekend! Forecast is looking good and the plan at this stage is to do the longest course starting at 0700, then heading up round Kapiti Island, Chetwodes Islands, Trio Islands, Jag Rocks finishing off Motuara Island.

Go Jane Thomassen!

Congratulations to Jane Thomassen for one again aiming the women's title at the 2026 New Zealand Paper Tiger Nationals at Clarks Beach Yacht Club.
Jane also secured the C Grade Trophy (a title she had been chasing for many many years) and a to 20 overall result.
Excellent results Jane, well done!

7 boats are off to Nelson in the Barton Marine NZ offshore race. It's a gloomy southerly but there is breeze. Great to see 2 boats from Nelson come up to join us.
