🌱 SPRING IS HERE! 🌱

The sun has been shining and the temperatures have been warming up — the perfect time to get those garden beds ready for spring planting! ☀️🌿

We’ve got Number 8 Compost 40L — 5 for $40, which is a great filler for getting your garden beds in shape.

Here’s my veggie patch 👩‍🌾 I’ve turned the soil over, added some chicken pellets from the chook coop 🐔 and then mixed in a whole lot of compost. Now it’s all ready for planting!

Some of my favourites are courgettes, cucumbers, beetroot, lettuce, corn and of course you can’t forget the good ol’ tomatoes! 🍅

We’ve had so many gorgeous new plants arrive, and the garden centre is looking better than ever! From colourful flowers to beautiful greenery, there’s plenty to inspire your next garden project. 🌱🪴

Whether you’re giving the garden a full spring refresh, filling a few empty spots, or simply looking for a new plant you absolutely didn’t need but definitely need 😂 — come and have a look.

This is honestly my favourite space in the shop. I’m currently trying to work out how I can move my office out here… 🪴😂

🌹 OUR ROSES ARE GROWING LIKE CRAZY! 🌹

If you’ve been thinking about adding roses to your garden, now is a great time to get planting.

🌱 HOW TO PLANT A ROSE

🌹 Choose a sunny spot — roses love plenty of sunshine.

🌹 Dig a hole around twice as wide as the root ball and loosen the soil well.

🌹 Mix in some good-quality compost or well-rotted organic matter to give your rose a great start.

🌹 Position your rose so the soil level is around the same as it was in the pot — don’t bury the stem.

🌹 Backfill, gently firm the soil and give it a really good water.

🌹 Add a layer of mulch around the base to help retain moisture, keeping it clear of the stem.

🌹 Once established, feed regularly with a rose fertiliser to encourage healthy growth and plenty of beautiful blooms. 🌸

And remember — sun + good soil + regular feeding + water = happy roses! 🌹
