With a lifting capability of up to 500kg, this vehicle mounted winch crane was designed and manufactured for Beekeeping - able to lift hives from remote areas into the back of a ute tray or flat deck.

We fabricated, installed, wired and setup the crane on this specialized off-roader custom built for rugged terrain.

Its been a long road but we have finally got moved out to the farm and getting machines out the door under the new name of Honey Badger Industries, because why not? 😁

Northern Marine Machining has been in our lives for over 30 years now but the name is not quite as relevant to what we do as it once did many moons ago. We haven't had our own machine shop in quite some time and there is not much call for marine work in the hills of Waipu where the Honey badgers reign supreme.

All the same services , no problem too big or small , we can take your ideas to 3D CAD drawings and prepare cut files for manufacturing or one off laser cut and fold that perfect hive tool that is right for you. Process equipment , Agricultural repairs and maintainance , automotive repairs and Modifications -(diff locks, lightbars, hive cranes, Ute trays, trailers) food plant site work maintainance and repairs .
