96 VS commodore came through needing some repairs;
removed, cleaned and reinstalled the heads and block
New spark plugs, thermostat, new gaskets all around for the inlet manifold, exhaust headers and the head gaskets. I removed dash fascia and the old speedo cluster to replace it with a working one, installed everything and everyone is happy.

2005 Nissan Serena had a few issues that needed sorting.
- The bonnet latch was seized and required brute force to open, lubricated and adjusted the mechanism
- Fuel release lever was disconnected from the cable, hooked it back up and got it working again.
- FR wheel had a bad scratching sound when turning, removed the wheel and brake caliper to inspect. Straightened the dust shield and bled the brakes for good measure.
It had trouble starting and would occasionally stall while driving;
- Removed the fuel pump and in tank filter
- Cleaned, inspected and tested the fuel pump
- Replaced the fuel filter and rubber grommet
- Re installed everything and test driven.

- Replaced the seal around kick down cable
-Replaced seal around dipstick tube
-Replaced input shaft seal, trans filter + pan gasket
-7L of fresh transmission fluid and she's back on the road again

Homelite E150 Line Trimmer came through in a pretty rough state and hadn't run in quite some time. It had a split primer bulb, fuel line had melted off at the filter, 1 bolt missing from the carburetor (which was full of gunk as the video shows), missing air filter and the throttle cable didn't retract inside the handle.

-New Primer Bulb
-New Air Filter
-New fuel lines and filter
-Carburetor thoroughly cleaned
-Throttle cable fixed and working nicely
-New bolt for the carburetor

Husqvarna 236 X TORQ 38cc Chainsaw didn't run and needed a few things.
- new intake manifold gasket
- new carburetor gasket
- new base gasket
- re gapped ignition coil
- piston ring and bore checked for wear
- reassembled and tuned to run nicely

Stihl HS45 Hedge Trimmer

- This one came in and had never run or even fired for the customer.
After a thorough diagnosis I put it down to a shorn off key on the flywheel. Filed a groove and tapped a new key in to see if it worked first (before spending $ and replacing the whole flywheel) and this old girl came roaring back to life. Thought I would post this one because im not the first mechanic to look at this machine, the customer had it checked over by STIHL and was told it was buggered before I got ahold of it.

2 x Husqvarna 40 chainsaws came in with different issues. 1 had a broken retainer nut for the clutch (which caused the spring to pop off). The other one needed the air filter and carburetor cleaned aswell as a basic tune to get it mint

Had a few saws come through last week,
McCulloch Mac 610 Chainsaw came in with with a split ignition lead, seized oiler and a blocked fuel filter.

- Removed and blew out the old fuel filter
- Removed and replaced the oiler + gasket with a good spare
- Swapped the ignition coil over, clearances checked and reassembled.

The other 610 just needed a tune to get it going properly, the 335 had a faulty spark plug which we replaced and it runs like new.

The mini Mac 110 needed 2 threads tapped and new bolts for the exhaust, aswell as a new recoil spring and pull cord for the starter.

94 VR Executive Bench Seat wagon
- Had an Ecotec v6 installed with a faulty transmission and a botched engine loom. The key didn't work and the computer was full of fault codes.

*Removed the ecotec V6, gearbox and engine loom.

*Remedied the ignition wiring to get the key working

* Soldered and repaired engine loom to match the original Buick V6

*Converted 4HDD gearbox to a column shift selector, in order for it to run the neutral safety switch and work on the benchy.

*Replaced all gaskets on the motor

*Installed VR timing cover with cam position sensor + installed magnet into camshaft sprocket (to run banked injection on VR)

* Reinstalled everything with fresh fluids and filters

- Spun a Con Rod bearing and needed to be rebuilt so I did the full removal, repair and re-installation.

-Bores honed and cleaned
-Hastings Piston Rings
-ACL Con Rod bearings
-ACL main bearings
-Oil pump and gasket
-Sump gasket and Timing cover gasket (crank seal done also)
- Fresh Engine + transmission oils and filters
-Rear main seal
