We had Roy’s FC RX7 on the dyno today.

Roy brought us the car with a fresh unknown Extend port 13B, fitted with a Master Power 61mm Turbo, we fabricated a 4” exhaust with twin 3 dumpy mufflers, completed a full engine bay fit out and installed a Link G4+ Monsoon, complete with a set of our IGN-1 coils

made a respectable 385hp on 13psi

This week we finished up this sweet black RZ Fd. It came to us as a Japanese import. All work completed in house consisted of structural panel work, new rear 1/4 , removal of bolt in rollcage mounting points. The car was prepped for a full repaint, mechanical work carried out rebuilt steering rack, brakes and suspension work. An electrical ABS fault was repaired. A long overdue progress post, Adrians billet quad rotor PP rolled outside to get some sun.
With the car all mocked up it has now been stripped and is off with the painter.

Few more before and after pics of L1ABLE and some more info on the upgrades made, with Scott Stinson doing a beautiful job of trimming the seats, dash and installing the new carpets, also on the interior we installed a microtech dash and finished of the dash centre with some billet buttons and a retro stereo.

Underneath we completely rebuilt the front end , and installed a set of adjustable front coil overs with wilwood brakes and 5 stud hubs

On the rear it has one of our hilux rear end conversions running chromoly dutchman axles, wilwood rear brakes with all braided lines.

To top it all off the car was put through low volume certification and the car is now road legal

Last one before RE, Ben’s barn find 929 sedan.

With late nights and early mornings, this car was converted from a piston to a rotary in 3 weeks

Series 4 engine with a tiny Bridgeport built by Paul Young running a 60mm Borgwarner turbo being controlled by a Microtech EFi LT10s

Made 307hp just shy of 8 psi but couldn’t go further as we ran out of wastegate pressure due to a weak 5psi spring

Still plenty of fun for Ben to enjoy til he upgrades a few more bits and pieces and get it back on the dyno

Second car done for the day is Mike McDonald’s FC RX7.

13B Semi PP from Mannz rotary running a Link G4+ extreme ECU with a borgwarner s472 turbo with a Projay intake manifold.

Made 632hp on 26psi on E85 fuel

After a fuel system upgrade we decided to see if we could push Old Blue some more.
Running one of our JC cosmo 13bs with a Borgwarner S366 Turbo with a Microtech EFi LT10c ECU on Gull Force 10 made 493hp just shy of 20psi but drops boost at around 7500rpm due to a restrictive exhaust.

Last one for the year, In time for Christmas, we supplied to another workshop, a 13B Bridgeport Turbo, with a small borgwarner S300 turbo all getting controlled Via a Microtech EFi LT10c ECU

Made a healthy 384hp just shy of 14psi

Wastegate spring held us back from going further but should be very fun for the owner to enjoy.

Back in time for Christmas was Dillon’s very tidy 323 hatch. It was brought to us deregistered with a non running the 13b under the hood. We got it running by fitting a new ida, fitting a new radiator and oil cooler and making a new front half wiring harness that de looms the engine bay. Then We fabricated a stainless exhaust system, got it to a nice ride hight and handling well with some xyz front adjustable struts and some qa1 adjustable dampening rear shocks, we fabricated an adjustable pan-hard rod and fitted an adjustable sway bar up front to bring it all into alignment. We took care of compliance and LVV certification and the car was driven home legal. Thanks again Dillon
