A busy yard made for a great photo today. Four trucks through the workshop for minor repairs and a quick turnaround. Production Critical Engineering is about more than fabrication; it's about keeping our customers operating by minimizing downtime and getting critical equipment back into service quickly.

Keeping up with a busy workload!

A full workshop and strong demand from our customers has meant we've called on a bit of extra firepower recently.

A big thank you to Mitchell from MD Engineering for lending a hand with the fabrication of this fertiliser devanning hopper currently taking shape in our workshop.

Designed to make fertiliser handling safer and more efficient, features include: Internal bag spike
Grading grate to help prevent lumps
Close-off chute for controlled discharge
Heavy-duty fabricated construction

Great to see local engineering businesses working together to get the job done.

🌧️ Rainy weekends are a great chance to sharpen a few skills.

The engineering world is constantly evolving, and keeping up means making time to learn. Today's challenge was exploring 3D modelling in AutoCAD and gaining a better understanding of the tools shaping modern engineering and manufacturing.

Every new skill is another tool in the toolbox.

Plenty happening at Bleeker Weith!

Projects are continuing to make up the majority of our workload at the moment, keeping our team busy both in the workshop and out on site. It's great to see strong activity across the marine and transport sectors, and with spring arriving, the agricultural industry is starting to kick into life as well.

We're also gearing up for a major project that will see our team operating on a 24-hour roster over a five-week period. A big challenge ahead, but one we're looking forward to taking on to ensure we meet our customer's expectations.

A huge thanks to our team and customers for their ongoing support. Bring on a busy spring!

It's been a busy week in the workshop, taking this job from initial inspection through to sourcing profiled parts, carrying out certified welding to our approved procedures, and completing final inspection, all within a tight timeframe.

Challenging yes, but satisfying and why we love getting out of bed.

Every factory upgrade is made up of hundreds of components, each one playing a critical role in the finished result.

This 200NB Schedule 10 stainless steel spool piece is one small part of a larger upgrade currently moving through our workshop. Fabricated and welded by our team, it's another piece of the puzzle that will help improve reliability and performance for our client.

From shutdown planning through to fabrication and installation support, we're proud to be helping South Canterbury industry invest in its future.
