On many projects that we have completed during this period the cost of building materials has been barely affordable - especially when we weren't able to access trade account discounts. We want to provide good quality building materials at a price that is 20-30% below commercial providers. This allows our customers to stretch their construction budgets without compromising quality. We stand by the

products we sell. We use them ourselves on our own projects and are happy to to meet our obligations under the Fair Trading Act. In addition to holding quantities of products in stock for drive in customers, we are also able to offer supply contracts as well. Supply contracts will suit customers with large orders to fill with sufficient time to allow for the manufacture/delivery of their custom order (Approx. 42-50 days). Opening hours. Pickup is by arrangement. Weekend and after hours pickups are encouraged. Deliveries to be by arrangement. Delivery Options. Pick Up. New product alert.......

Bitz and Piecez has recently commenced upcoming new season production of polycarbonate sheets and are excited to expand our normal corrugated sheets to include five rib polycarbonate.

These sheets are a match for our five rib iron sheets and will sell for the same price - $17.49/metre incl gst (however, confirmed pre-orders will receive a 5% + gst discount - no deposit required).

Grades: Clear and light grey tint.

Qualities: 1.0mm gauge. UV treated both sides.

Widths: 903mm/840mm cover.

Also arriving:

An expanded corrugated range of polycarbonate sheets in clear/light grey tint/dark grey tint.

Buildings need roofs.

Powzed Fasteners ®. – Our very own branded roofing and polycarbonate screws. Will be in stock in February. Superior Ruspert protection with Bitz and Piecez value pricing.

ALZN 150g corrugated/five rib 0.5mm sheets. Increased quantity, and colour range – same great value pricing. New stock arriving late February.

Corrugated polycarbonate sheets – Our March shipment will have clear/light/dark tinted sheets. Double UV treated and stronger than standard (1.0mm).

Small excavator range. New 1.8T demonstrator model arriving in February. Models available from 1.2-3.0T.

With the Christmas period approaching at a rate of knots, it may be worth being prepared for the building and maintenance jobs planned for this time.

Christmas hours for Bitz and Piecez will show us open through this period apart from the statutory holidays.

Of note, for customers requiring flashings, we won't be able to source them between Dec 23rd - Jan 07th due to the traditional building industry close period.

Stock wise, BItz and Piecez will have a reasonable volume of five rib iron sheets, corrugated polycarbonate sheets, and roofing screws/decking available through this time.

We also still have some scriber/skirting timber available as well.

One very useful quality of Bitz and Piecez corrugated iron and five rib sheets is our manufacturing process which provides for colour coating on both sides of the sheets.

This is very useful when using the sheets for fences where colour on both sides is visible.

No longer do you have to consider whether the colour should be installed inward or outward. No longer do you have to consider repainting the underside to achieve consistency.

With our sheets the double coating comes as standard - with no added premium on the price/metre. (Currently 0.5mm $16.95/metre incl gst)

(A quick competitor comparison on 17/10/2025 showed 0.4mm double coated sheets selling for around $31.00/metre incl gst).

Nationwide shipping pricing:

One of the most requested details the team at Bitz and Piecez receive is the cost of freight.

This is important for customers outside our immediate delivery area (greater Waikato) to know as it can significantly affect the overall cost effectiveness of purchasing roofing supplies from us.

Recently, we have been able to secure very good shipping pricing from Mainfreight for their nationwide depots – both North Island and South Island depots.

In accordance with our business philosophy, we are passing these savings to our customers with very good shipping prices for our orders.

To help demonstrate this, we have provided a sample table of the shipping cost for a small/medium order (15 lengths of 4.2m corrugated iron) to various nationwide depots and including the price per metre shipping rate.

These rates will increase/decrease depending on specific sheet lengths/weights but do provide good ball park numbers to work from.

Being consistent with a philosophy of continuous improvement, Bitz and Piecez will be introducing ALZN 150 corrosion resistant corrugated and five rib sheets from the end of October, 2025.

The corrosion treatment (ALZN 150) combines the protection of Aluminium and Zinc to provide increased corrosion resistance to profiled metal roofing/fencing sheets.

What won't be changing is our commitment to heavier sheet gauge (0.5mm), double coated paint system (coloured on both faces), and sharp pricing (+/- 30% below local brands).
