Time for a well earned break! The website will be happy to take any orders over the holidays. The office will reopen on Monday 12th January. Deliveries will resume from Tuesday 13th January.

Due to continued growth, Firewood Factory has the following position available:

🔥 Processor / Machinery operator Full time

Firewood Factory is a rapidly expanding, large scale firewood operation based in rural Te Aroha. A family owned and operated business with a small but highly effective team.

We are seeking people with the following attributes:
▪️a full drivers licence
▪️a team player - shows initiative working on your own and with others
▪️believes in hard work and determination
▪️enjoys meeting new people and interacting with customers
▪️thrives on working outdoors
▪️reliable
▪️physically fit
▪️committed to maintaining a safe workplace
▪️pass drug testing

We process logs using our world class, semi automated machinery. Using the Loader, Excavator, Tractor, skid steers and other heavy machinery. Delivering orders throughout the greater Waikato with our late model specialised tipping trucks and trailers. We also have a fully equipped engineering workshop in which we fabricate most tools and equipment needed within the business.

SMALL CUT FIREWOOD for 2026

Do you have a smaller than usual firebox or prefer a smaller piece of wood for easy handling?

We’re changing how we offer this product/service.
Now is your time to order for the 2026 season.

Our small cut products are cut to a length of 250mm (approx) and have a smaller width compared to our standard cut. This is freshly split and will be ready for burning Autumn/Winter 2026. We’re offering Small Cut Pine and Small Cut Standard Hotmix for a limited time only.

Available for purchase on our website or give us a call to discuss your firewood needs for 2026.
