What a weekend at the Festival of Disability Sport 2026 in Tauranga.

We were proud to sponsor this two-day event hosted by Parafed Bay of Plenty, bringing together physically disabled athletes from across the nation to compete, connect and give different sports a go.

Across wheelchair tournaments and have-a-go sessions with Circability and Wheelchair Rugby League, the festival created space for people to come together and celebrate disability sport.

A huge thank you to Parafed Bay of Plenty, Healthvision, the athletes, families, supporters and everyone who made the weekend happen.

We’re excited to keep building this partnership and support more opportunities for physically disabled athletes in New Zealand.

Last Thursday the Cubro Mobility Hub team exhibited our mobility scooter range at the TLC4U2 “All About Accessibility” Expo at McKay Stadium, Whangārei. It was fantastic connecting with so many like-minded people and organisations who share the passion for helping everyone to Move Freely, Live Fully.

There was plenty of interest across the range, from compact, portable scooters through to larger everyday mobility solutions, with some great conversations about independence, accessibility, and staying connected within their community.
