Our Story

Central Plumbing and Sheetmetals (CPS) originally started as just Central Sheetmetals way back in 1982, owned and operated by Taupo local Gary Jenkins. Over the last 35 years, the company has gone from strength to strength.

Our team of licensed, qualified plumbers' depth of experience across a wide range of plumbing and drainage projects is a strength they bring to all jobs they attend, no matter how big or small. And we turn up when we say we will!

Our sheetmetal engineers are acknowledged master craftsmen, providing fine workmanship and attention to detail. They can take care of any of your sheet metal and light engineering needs, and their history and experience makes them the go-to men for any unusual or difficult jobs - they relish the challenge!

CPS also has a rigorous Health and Safety culture, having achieved the difficult ACC Level 3 accreditation. Along with our in-house QA systems, our comprehensive H&S policies mean you can relax when CPS is on the job. With our extensive experience on commercial sites and large projects, you can also have the confidence our team know what to do and how to it properly.
