We're on the lookout for a new apprentice to add to our crew. If a mechanical engineering apprenticeship with our organisation interests you, please get in touch. We specialise in rural engineering from farm site work - new shed builds/extensions/renovations, repairs & maintenance, to workshop based component manufacturing, repairs to farm machinery & maintenance. If you're keen to learn, have an interest in our predominantly rural field of engineering, enjoy working at different sites in the outdoors or in the workshop, we'd love to hear from you.

Shed completion for a family we have a great connection with. This young farmer completed his apprenticeship with us before heading back to the farming life. Loved being able to help him & his family create this new 54 bail rotary.

Shed season is well underway. Some work in progress...a sheep shed conversion back to 26-a-side cow shed 🐄

Created for a customer recently - round bale feeders for sheep or cattle. Cage comes apart & has fork slots for easy transport so the bale can be moved to a new spot or different paddock. Base also helps keeps the bale off the ground 👍

Work in progress...It's a thing of beauty. Here we have 2 x 50 NB water glands (to feed water to 2 x backing gate wash systems) & a 100NB electric gland to power backing gate drives. Also provision for a top mounted, drop down electric gate in a circular yard. For more info on our centre post glands, see our website www.leask.co.nz
