A split-level slab doesn’t have to mean a split pour.

We’re in Kāpiti this week, where Carl is helping his brother Joel build a QuickSet slab with two finished-floor levels.

QuickSet will be used to box the internal split, allowing both levels to be poured together—without the need for a separate two-piece pour.

We’ll take you behind the scenes as the build progresses.

The boxing comes off. QuickEdge stays.

QuickSet combines permanent formwork, internal bracing and slab-edge insulation in one system.

It holds the concrete from within, keeping traditional boxing and external braces out of the way during the pour. Once the concrete is in, the formwork stays right where it is.
