We know we can build some pretty cool sh*t… but lately, we think we might be getting a little carried away. 😂

Four identical trailers. Four fully functional display units. And a whole lot of cabinetry.

Built for Fit NZ to take on the road and showcase their products across the country.

This time, the Fit team were right there alongside us in the workshop, working with our in-house cabinet maker, Amy, to bring their vision to life. From the first ideas to the finished cabinetry, it was a proper team effort — and a bloody good one at that.

Big thanks to Speedy Signs Rotorua for bringing the finishing touches with the decals, and to Fit New Zealand for trusting us once again with your display units.

Four of them, actually. Quadruplets. Because apparently one just wasn't enough. 😎

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at what’s currently on the go at Top Gear Trailers — from custom builds heading across the ditch to Australia 🇦🇺, to four identical trailers we’ve built for a customer to showcase their kitchen fit-outs.

Different projects. Different purposes. Same attention to detail. 💪

Meanwhile, Scotty’s been flat out with custom fabrication projects, putting our new laser table to work 🔥.

🎉 Huge Congratulations, Amy! 🎉

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Amy on completing her apprenticeship and earning her New Zealand Certificate in Kitchen Joinery, with strands in Manufacture and Installation. 👏🔨

Amy is the one who installs all the cabinetry and joinery in our trailers, and she brings that extra level of care, precision and attention to detail that really makes a difference.

This qualification is a fantastic recognition of the skills she brings to the team every day — and we couldn’t be happier to see her achieve it. 🙌

Well done, Amy! We’re very proud to have you as part of the Top Gear team. 🥳👏

Grey is still the colour of choice in 2026! 🔥

This custom-built Karter measures 4.2m long x 2.2m wide x 2.0m high (external box) with the extra width allowing two karts (junior or senior) to be loaded through the side hatch, while still providing plenty of additional storage space below.

Fully kitted out and ready for action, this beauty is about to embark on its maiden voyage all the way to Dunedin!
