HERE’S YOUR FINAL RESULTS FOR THE ROTORUA ITM BIG 3 HUNTING & FISHING COMP 2026 🦌🐗🎣

Firstly, we want to say a massive thank you to all our sponsors for your generosity, support and contribution towards making this comp possible. Without you all, events like this simply don’t happen.

A very special shout out also goes to the Mamaku Volunteer Fire Brigade & our Security from the Ngongotaha Volunteer Fire Brigade who gave up their own time to come down, cook kai, help run our stall & keep our whanau safe.
As always, you never fail to jump in, lend a hand and support our kaupapa whenever needed. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do for our communities and for us ❤️

To the Ngongotaha Bowling Club staff - Thank you for having us once again, sharing your space and for your continued support.

SandBar catering, Nga mihi for feeding the hungry puku of everyone there.

To all our hunters, fishos, volunteers, helpers, staff, whānau and supporters - thank you for another awesome year.

31 teams registered. Countless memories made.
See you all again in 2027 🔥

Righto whānau… enjoy the photos from our BIG 3 Hunting Comp 📸😂
Plenty of animals, plenty of laughs, questionable poses and a few people who definitely should’ve stayed behind the camera 👀🤣
Massive thanks to everyone who came down, supported, helped out, bought kai and made it another awesome day.
Have a scroll, tag your mates and if you spot yourself looking a bit rough… don't blame the photographer 😅🐗🦌

More photos in the ALBUM under BIG 3 2026. Couldn't upload all at once

Apologies in advance... watch the stories at your own discretion! 😂
Just a few snaps and videos added to stories that have been dropped into the team WhatsApp over the last 3–4 days.

We’re not entirely sure what some of them were up to 🤔... and to be honest, We probably don't want to know. There are definitely a few questionable decisions & some suspicious behaviour 🤣

But the main thing is everyone had a great time, made some memories and somehow survived to tell the tale!

Enjoy... and remember, what happens on tour stays on tour... unless someone posts it in the WhatsApp group 📸😂🍻

This one deserved to be added on its own 🤦🏻‍♀️

Kobe Uata!
Huge congratulations on making the ANZMRL U15 Tama Tournament team. What a proud moment for you and your whānau.

To hear from Mum and Dad that you put in the mahi and got the goods is something special.
Success like this doesn't happen by accident. It’s earned through hard work, sacrifice, discipline and believing in yourself when no one is watching.

We are incredibly proud to support such a driven and inspiring young athlete. You've earned this opportunity and now it's your time to go out there, enjoy the journey and show everyone what you're capable of.

Keep your feet grounded, your standards high and your heart in the game.

Mahi hard. Stay humble. Dream big.

Mission complete: everyone made it home safe and sound.

Things caught today:
✅ Fish
✅ Pigs
✅ Stags
✅ Colds
✅ Wet asses

Things not caught:
❌ Common sense (for going out in that weather!)

For a day that looked more suited to ducks than hunters and gatherers the turnout was absolutely awesome.

Thanks to everyone who braved the weather, had a laugh and made it another great BIG 3 event.
