Well… FIRST DAY HOME and it’s straight back to the YARD TO CLEAN 😂🧹

We may have accidentally spent the cleaning money on food, gas and alcohol during the road trip… sooooo someone’s gotta take one for the team and work that debt off 😂🍻⛽️

Walked into the shop today and honestly, it was WAY TOO CLEAN. 🤨😂
Either we had no customers, the staff secretly closed the shop OR our amazing staff actually kept the place running AND spotless while we were away.

Huge credit to the team though they did an incredible job holding down the fort and keeping everything looking mint while we were off gallivanting around the South Island. 👏❤️

Although it has now come to our attention that THE DIRECTORS MAY ACTUALLY BE THE ONES WHO MAKE ALL THE MESS… 😳😂
But SHHHHH… nobody needs to tell them that!

And here’s another adventurous activity to add to the road trip…
Bungy jumping ✅
Helicopter rides ✅
Bars in every town ✅
CLEANING THE YARD ✅😂
Bet this has more thrills than the bungy and helicopter combined 😂

Well… we have officially made it back to Wellington safe and sound 🥳🙌 And judging by this weather, Wellington clearly DID NOT get the memo that we were coming home 😂🌧️💨 Not exactly the welcome-home party we ordered!

As we sit here waiting to get off the ferry, it’s time for the crew to start going their separate ways after one hell of an adventure 🥹❤️

Safe travels to Kelly & Rodney heading off to Gizzy to spend time with whanau, Tai Tai with his massive 😂 short drive to Paraparaumu and Sam & Ana who still have the trek back to Rotorua ahead of them.

And then there’s Knisha & Tarps… who decided DAYS AGO that this weather business wasn’t for them and buggered off to RAROTONGA instead 🤦🏻‍♀️😂🌴🍹 Must be bloody nice!! Yous better pack some of that sunshine in your bags and bring it home because clearly we need it! 😂☀️

What a trip, what a crew and soooo many memories made along the way ❤️ Now… let’s get off this ferry and get our asses HOME! 😂🚗💨

Welllll… we have FINALLY made it to Picton and are now waiting to board the ferry home! 😂⛴️

Since leaving Rotorua on the 7th of August, we’ve travelled roughly 2,860 kilometres 😳🚐💨 and somehow we’re all still speaking to each other… just. 😂

The South Island, you have been absolutely BEAUTIFUL ❤️ What an amazing part of our country. The views, the adventures, the people… and of course the pubs the boys managed to sniff out in every town. 🍻🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Now get us on this ferry and back to the North Island before we find somewhere else to stop. 😂

Welllll… if you were waiting for some spectacular footage from our drive from Hanmer Springs to Nelson… sorry to disappoint 😂😂
The scenery consisted of hills, more bloody hills, cows… and slow trucks. 🐄⛰️🚛 That’s it. That’s the travel documentary. 😂

Didn’t help that our trusty videographer spent half the trip catching up on sleep because she’s sick & apparently road tripping is exhausting when you’re not even driving 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 And when she WAS awake, she was too busy trying not to spew while the driver thought he was Colin McRae drifting his way through every corner.
😭😂 Mate settle down. Can u guess who?🤦🏻‍♀️

BUT somehow, against all odds, we have safely made it to NELSON! 🙌😂

Checked into another absolutely stunning FIRE HOUSE accommodation 🔥🏠 and BONUS POINTS… WE ARRIVED IN DAYLIGHT! 👏😂 Look at us getting our s**t together this far into the trip.
Everyone’s alive. Bags are in. Beds have been claimed. Videographer is recovering. Driver still thinks he deserves a podium finish.
Righto… enough sightseeing. Time for beers. 🍻😂
