Tuesday was a stunning day in Marlborough for Maize planting, and what a heck of a good day to set off Leslie Bros Contracting Limited’s new Kverneland TF Profi SX 8 Row precision planter!

This full spec unit features Kverneland’s SX High speed pressure planting row unit, along side with fertiliser down the spout and scales on the main fert hopper. This also gives Leslie’s full section control and the ability to plant at higher speeds than a standard vacuum planter.

A high thanks once again to Phil and Paul for their continued business. Can’t wait to be up in the next few weeks to see the first results.

Also a huge thanks to Mike, our head of Kverneland NZ for installing the machine!

Jackie was out on Saturday helping install Jackson Holmes’s new McHale Fusion 4 plus up in the Rakaia Gorge.

This machine is a bit of a first for us, full spec but includes the newly available extended drawbar with K80 hitch, moving away from a standard pin/drawbar setup. This is much easier on the machine, tractor and operator with no pin slop when the machine stops for each bale.

A big thanks to Todd and the Jackson Holmes crew for their continued support of McHale and Power Farming Canterbury 🍻

What a huge September we have had with the grass growing and a huge amount of indent gear arriving.
Today we installed Chamberlain Agriculture’s new set of Kverneland 55100MT BX mower conditioners with front 3336FT.
This is Chamberlain’s second set of this model mower, trading their previous 53100MT set after having done around 15,000ha with them.

One of the main differences with this newer model is the addition of “CurvePilot” where the rear mowers automatically side shift left and right to maximise overlap on headland turns, minimising missed strips of uncut grass. This is done in sync with the tractors steering.

A huge thanks to Nigel and Dean for their business and continued support of the Kverneland brand and PFC.

Big yella was rising this morning in B A Murray Agricultural Contracting LTD’s yard!
Actually it was cloudy and wet, but what could brighten your day more than a shiny new JCB 435S Ag wheel loader ☀️!

JCB loaders have been the choice of loader for the Murray crew for an age, so it’s exciting to add the most recent model of 435S to the fleet!
With 282hp, best in-class power to weight ratio of 19hp/ton what more could you want!

A huge thanks to Steve and the rest of the Murray team for their continued business. Bring on the 2026/27 grass season!

Another indent delivery for the week today for Charlie and Jimmy, with this new McHale Fusion 4 Plus heading to its new home at Waiau Enterprises!
This is their third fusion from us originally buying the first in 2018, which ended being the first Film on Film baler in the Amuri basin!

A big thanks to Greeny and the rest of the team for their continued support of the brand and Power Farming Canterbury!

Install day today for this new Kverneland iXtrack T6 7600 sprayer! 🚜

This machine is built for capacity and efficiency, with a huge 7,600L nominal capacity and a 30m steel boom.

The T6 was well specced with large flotation tyres, a high number of boom sections and Kverneland’s world-renowned iXclean Pro cleaning technology.

Today we were lucky enough to have Arik from Kverneland’s Sprayer & Spreader factory in the Netherlands on hand for setup and driver training. Combined with the expertise of our own Sales Support team, Steve and Mike, there was certainly plenty of knowledge on hand to get this machine set up and ready to go!

A big thanks also to Logan, our Service Technician, who did an exceptional job on the PDI and captured these great photos along the way.

Thank you to the client for their continued business — we really appreciate it!
