73 Hire Rolleston now at 790 Jones Road, Rolleston

Our Rolleston branch has moved to a new premises on the corner of Hoskyns and Jones Roads, Rolleston. This branch will be open from Friday 10 January 2020.

We have been operating in Rolleston for a year and seen this branch grow. We are excited about our new site and look forward to fabulous year in 2020.

73 Hire is owned and operated by Les and Cath Barnett, 2 locals living in the Selwyn District.

We also operate a yard in Darfield. We started out in Springfield at home for 15 months before moving to Darfield in May 2013. We moved from a shed and office in Springfield to a portable office and two containers. We had a portable toilet, a tap on the fence for water and a generator to give us our power. Whilst we were nice and cosy, we began to outgrow these facilities - purchasing more equipment as demand required it. In April 2015, we moved into a purpose-built building that allowed us to have a service bay, workshop, drive through, office, rental shop, kitchen and most importantly a flushable toilet and electricity!
