It was a proud moment at Liquid Action as Josh Foster presented Riley Keen with his NZ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering – officially recognising him as a qualified tradesman!

Achieving a trade qualification takes dedication, hard work and the support of an incredible team. A huge thank you to Donna and Mitch from NMI, along with Josh, Tony, John and everyone at Liquid Action who helped Riley every step of the way.

Congratulations, Riley. Your commitment has paid off, and you’ve earned every bit of this achievement. Not everyone makes it to the finish line—but you nailed it. Well done!

You could be fried! ⚡

Well… your irrigation controller and electrics could be, anyway.

After a recent (and very entertaining!) lightning storm, we discovered a number of irrigation controllers and pumping systems had been damaged.

As most systems aren’t in use right now, the damage could easily go unnoticed—especially with submersible pumps. The last thing anyone wants is an unwelcome surprise when irrigation season kicks off.

With all the weather we’ve been having lately; do yourself a favour: take a few minutes to give your control system a visual check and fire up your pump to make sure it’s still running.

A quick check now could save a lot of stress later.

Life Education Trust Marlborough

Wow. Wow. We did it.

On behalf of the entire team at Liquid Action, we just want to say… we are absolutely quacked to be accepting the win today. 🦆🥇

Coming into the Duck Race Derby, we knew the competition would be fierce. Some of those ducks? Streamlined. Focused. Probably been training all year in someone’s bath, and determined to knock us off the podium. But we believed in our duck. Strong hydration strategy, excellent floatation… and just a little bit of blind luck.

We’d like to thank the current for really carrying us through — couldn’t have done it without you. Also a big shoutout to the other ducks… you pushed us right to the edge. Especially that one that got stuck on the side for a bit — you really gave us hope.

To our supporters on the sidelines yelling things like “GO DUCK!” — your passion did not go unnoticed.

At Liquid Action, we’ve always said we know liquids… but today we proved we also know ducks.

This win isn’t just for us — it’s for everyone who’s ever believed that a small plastic duck could achieve big dreams.

• 1st place: Maddie with duck #408 - $500 thanks to MTF Finance Blenheim
• 2nd place: Natashya with duck #61 - $200 thanks to Pure Air Conditioning
• 3rd place: Evelyn with duck #428 - $100 Quench Restaurant and Bar voucher

💼 The Corporate Duck Super Race
We still can’t believe it… Liquid Action has done it again, taking out 1st place and winning a Sweet Creations NZ morning tea shout!

Marlborough Weekly burst out to an early lead, looking strong right from the start. Then Whitehaven Wines surged ahead and claimed the front spot. But the excitement didn’t stop there - Deluxe Imports Tasman powered through and looked set to take the win… until they got caught up in the weeds.

That’s when Liquid Action came flying through, overtaking the field and securing the win yet again. MediaWorks crossed the line in 2nd place, with The Woody taking 3rd.
