While it may have looked like we skived off work for a very much needed long weekend in the big smoke (almost true 😉), we actually spent the best part of the weekend networking and expanding our knowledge base at the Capricorn Society Gala Dinner and Trade Show.

It was an excellent opportunity for us to chat with new suppliers, learn about new products and product lines and build some new and mutually rewarding connections in the industry.
(The mouth watering food, chilled beves and Ben Hurley were also a definite highlight 🫣🤣).

How is that relevant to our customers though, you may wonder? This event has given us some additional tools and connections to be able to solve even more problems (or almost problems) that may crop up, so we can continue providing end to end service to our customers 👌

We barely managed any photos at either event, as we were so absorbed in the atmosphere, so here's the few we did manage (even managed to bump into Scott & Soph from Xpress Automotive )

When was the last time your machine or implement had a thorough check over?

The change of season is a great time to have a thorough check over completed on your machines - reducing the risk of failure when you're right in the thick of a job!

It's also a great opportunity to make sure all machines and implements are safe for yourself and your team to be operating.

As you know Connor is the mechanical guru behind the our operation, but, he can also have some other pretty good ideas, at times, on how to reduce downtime for our valued customers. After extensive hold-ups when needing hydraulic repair support, this made him wonder what we could do to get our customers up & running quicker! So he did some research into a hydraulic repair set-up for us, crunched some numbers, then presented it to the boss for the tick of approval.... which he eventually got!

So here we are, introducing you to our state-of-the-art BOApod, from BOA Hydraulics!

This trailer is the ultimate hydraulic repair set-up, but the best part is...... she's solar powered, meaning we can assemble and repair your hydraulic hoses whenever, wherever you may be!

Not only can we offer you our parts and service knowledge and support, we can now add hydraulic breakdown and preventative maintainence support too!

Happy New Year! 🎉

We hope you've all had an awesome start to the year (despite the less than ideal weather!)

For us, we've started with a HUGE hiss & a roar, and we're excited for the year ahead!

I made it out into the feild with Connor for the evening during the week, as an extra pair of hands was needed, but unfortunately, I was verrrrrry quickly fired from my role as apprentice...apparently mechanics don't like it when their toolboxes get a little messed up 🤭🤣
So looks like I'll be sticking to the computer & books, rather than the tools this year!
